On Sunday, June 7, 2020, the al-Quds Committee of the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA) participates with over 200 entities, operating in Jerusalem/al-Quds, in the al-Quds International E-campaign Day, which corresponds to the 53rd year into the occupation of eastern al-Quds.
On PCPA’s behalf, head of the al-Quds Committee Dr. Ibrahim Muhana stated that the al-Quds International E-campaign Day is designated for online action on social networking sites, using the #WeStand4Alquds.
The campaign’s aim, he reported, is “the revival of the duty of supporting and standing in solidarity with al-Quds, shedding a light on the Zionists’ violations of the rights of al-Quds’ people and holy shrines, and utilizing the space offered by the social networking sites to channel the suffering of al-Quds’ people.”
“The E-campaign is to be launched through the following social networking sites: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube,” Muhana told PCPA, stressing that radios and TV channels will also be sought.
Muhana called on the Palestinian people, Arabs, Muslims, and the free spirits of the world to take to social networking sites, saying: “We call all the lovers of holy al-Aqsa mosque and the city of al-Quds to heavily tweet using #WeStand4AlQuds.”
