‘5 Minutes from Home’ (2007)
From independent filmmaker Nahed Awwad, this film explores the history of the Jerusalem airport, which has been occupied by the Israeli army since 1967.
The drama film directed by Hany Abu-Assad was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, where it took home the Special Jury Prize.
Starring Alia Shawkat, this Cherien Dabis-directed drama tells the story of a Palestinian immigrant single mother and her teenage son in small town Indiana.

‘The Tale of the Three Jewels’ (1995)
The first feature ever filmed in the Gaza Strip, this drama directed by Michel Khleifi revolves around a 12-year-old boy who embarks on a mystical journey.
‘A Drowning Man’ (2017)
Directed by Mahdi Fleifel, this film shows a day in the life of a Palestinian immigrant living in Greece.
